Kale Apple Smoothie Great for Anytime

Anyone who knows me knows that I love smoothies.  They are great for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a snack post workout.  The options are endless.  This Kale Apple smoothie is great for anytime.  Do not be discouraged if you do not like kale as a result of the fruit you won’t even know it is in there.

There are many great benefits to smoothies.  Smoothies can be a boost to your health, are chocked full of vitamins and nutrients in addition to the ease of creating them.  They really wake the body up and provide the body with what it needs.  Also, you will feel more alert, alive and energized.  I’m pretty sure those are all things you would like to experience.

There are so many combinations out there to enjoy.  For instance how about strawberries, blueberries and cherries.  Likewise Pineapple, mango and banana are a huge hit.  Similarly Kale, Spinach, Pineapple and Mango go great together.  I mean, the list really goes on and on. You certainly can try so many combinations and never go wrong.

Kale Apple Smoothie recipe

I have so many different juice and smoothie recipes that I will be sharing with you.

Alright, let’s get this party started with an enjoyable smoothie.  Here is one that I really like. Easy to make and tasty.

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup of Kale
  • 1 stalk of celery
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/2 cup apple juice
  • 1/2 cup of ice
  • 1 Tbsp. of Lemon Juice

First, place all ingredients in a blender or I like to use Magic Bullet.  Finally, blend until smooth.  I mean really, can it get any easier than that? I think not.

To sum it up, smoothies are something to enjoy whenever the notion strikes.
