Tips for a Meaningful Day

These tips for a meaningful day will make you feel better if you incorporate them regularly.  Start your day with a few minutes of silence and say a positive affirmation.  Perhaps, I am enough; I a happy; I am powerful.  Find something that resonates with You.

Write something

Take out your journal, notebook, whatever is handy and spend three (3) minutes writing.  It doesn’t have to be anything specific, just whatever comes to mind.  Or, if you are being called to write something specific go for it!  Perhaps what you are grateful for or one thing you want to accomplish today.

Find some Playtime

Laughing is one of the best ways I know of to change your bodies chemistry.  Be silly, play with your kids or grandkids, or perhaps play a game.  Maybe dance around the living room. Yep I’ve been known to do that frequently.   Do anything you enjoy.  Just be sure you find that playtime.  You can always fit in at least 5 minutes of play time into your day.  Trust me, your body and mind will thank you for it

Look at your Surroundings

Look at your surroundings.  Find five beautiful things around you.  What are they saying. How do they make you feel?  Let those feelings soak in and really resonate with you.  

Give yourself permission to Let Go

Don’t take yourself too seriously.  Let something go that is not serving you today.  

Remember, every day is meant to be enjoyed and we all have responsibilities, but that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t enjoy each day.  Incorporate something meaningful each and every day that are important to you.
