Essential oils can be a beautiful, supportive tool to add to your wellness toolkit. While they aren’t a cure-all, incorporating essential oils into your daily routine can help create a sense of balance, calm, and focus—especially when dealing with stress, hot flashes, or energy dips common during midlife.

For example:

  • Lavender supports relaxation and restful sleep.

  • Peppermint can offer a cooling sensation and mental clarity.

  • Citrus oils like Lemon or Orange uplift mood and boost energy.

Used mindfully—whether diffused, applied topically (diluted), or included in self-care rituals—essential oils provide natural support that aligns with holistic living. They pair beautifully with yoga, meditation, journaling, or simply as a moment to pause and breathe.

Think of them as a gentle but steady companion in your self-care journey.

Beautiful Summer Blend

Here’s a favorite summer blend:

Summer Calm Roller Blend:

  • 6 drops Peppermint (cooling + uplifting)

  • 4 drops Lavender (soothing)

  • 3 drops Lemon (refreshing + mood-boosting)

  • Carrier oil (fractionated coconut oil or jojoba)

Alternative care

How to Make It:

  1. Add essential oils to a 10ml roller bottle.

  2. Fill the rest of the bottle with your carrier oil.

  3. Apply to wrists, neck, or behind the ears as needed.

Perfect before yoga, after a walk, or anytime you need a mid-summer refresh.
